Against the Stream
What do lemmings, high school cliques, and salmon all have in common? Group think. The desire to follow the crowd, no matter where it may lead. Off a cliff, adopting a fake valley girl accent, into a hungry grizzly’s mouth. Scary stuff!
“Be the engine, not the caboose." Words of wisdom from an elementary school teacher that left its indelible mark on the founder of this company. Going “against the stream” is a part of Soxfords’ mantra, and we strongly feel that a bit of unconventionality is a needed remedy for a boringly mainstream society!
Whether you are a thought leader, an entrepreneur, or simply a fisherman looking to tout your love of the sport, Soxford’s Against the Stream is for you!
Salmon colored colored cotton dress socks with a subtle off-white pin dot pattern, and embroidery featuring a jumping fish on the calf.
Size and Fit
Cut over-the-calf with a nice wide cuff to avoid slippage. One size fits most, and will comfortably accommodate US men’s shoe sizes 8-12, women’s 10 – 14.
Please note that there are small variations in size between designs, and not every design will fit exactly the same. See Construction and Fit page for more details.
"Against the Stream" socks are constructed from a mix of 57% premium cotton and 43% nylon. Handlinked toes complete the package, so there won't be any uncomfortable nubs of fabric to rub against!
